Education Projects

Greater Ozarks Audubon's primary educational focus is through Audubon Adventures. We are currently developing bird identification workshops, our Birding 101 series, the first of which was held in spring 2005. A sparrow workshop will be held November 9 this fall and one on warblers next spring. We are partnering with the Springfield Conservation Nature Center to present programs to youth involved in the Conservation Kid's Club and Conservation Teen Club. GOAS also offers a variety of slide and Powerpoint programs to the public and groups interested in landscaping for birds and wildlife, bird identification, and other topics, such as wildflowers. Please link to one of the headings on the sidebar at left under education to learn more about our education projects and activities.
