Spring/Summer 2016 Field Trip Schedule

Get your copy of the GOAS Spring/Summer field trip Schedule

GOAS field trips are open to anyone, regardless of birding skill or chapter membership. Beginning birders and families are especially welcomed. Walking on most trips is easy to moderate; occasionally we bird by vehicle. The times listed are departures, so please arrive promptly. We carpool on many trips, with the passengers and driver sharing the cost of gasoline. Bring snacks, drinks, or lunch, unless it is specified that we are stopping for a meal. Also bring binoculars, or notify the field trip leader if you need binoculars. Wear clothing that is appropriate for the season, and anticipate temperature changes. Sturdy shoes or boots are not required, but are recommended. If you have any questions, including those regarding weather cancellations, contact Greg Samuel, Field Trip Chair and Bird Recorder. Leaders: please forward your field trip lists to Greg Samuel.

May 7-8, 2016: Tower Grove Park, St. Louis, Missouri,

Jerry and Margie Williams will be in the St. Louis area this weekend, and offer to lead field trips to several area hotspots. If you or a carload want to join them, please contact the Williams's for more information about directions, accommodations, and itinerary.
Alternatively, the Williams's will be at the Gaddy Bird Garden, located at the Northwest corner of TG Park, May 7, at 7:30 am.
