GOAS Publications
GOAS publishes the GOAS Scissortail and Scissortail Flyer eight times per year, September
through November, and January through May. Read the GOAS Scissortail newsletter online or subscribe (see below) to receive publications by email. Our newsletters
keep you informed about all our activities, including field trips, program topics, and special GOAS sponsored events. Members of GOAS are also members of National Audubon and receive the beautiful Audubon magazine.

Subscribe to Online GOAS Publications
The Greater Ozarks Audubon Board promotes a more sustainable future for our chapter and the planet by publishing
our newsletter and other communications electronically. We conserve paper, trees, habitat, postage, chapter funds, and
reduce newsletter compilation time. A small number of newsletters will continue to be printed and mailed to members desiring a print format.
A reduced number of mailed pieces requires first class postage, so members requesting
mailed newsletters are assessed $5.00 annually to cover postage. Here’s how we’ll transition:
- Members who wish to receive chapter communications and newsletter in print, must send notification with contact information (and notify when changes occur) to the GOAS Secretary
There is a $5.00 annual fee to cover postage.
- Members who do not subscribe or provide contact information for print versions, will no longer
receive chapter communications. Members may subscribe at any time to receive communications electronically or by mail.
